As I looked for significant connections and artifacts of that turbulent period I found an unlikely survivor, Comanche the horse.
The horse was a living whiteness to the infamous Battle Of the Little Bighorn, and later became an archaeological object. Comanche’s passage through time from the 19th century up to the present 21st is fascinating.
