The core of my teaching philosophy is movement and the desire to engage in the development of knowledge through the hands and body. It is through the language of physical craft materials that we can recognize our part as contributing members of an active and living history evidenced by the recollection we interpret through artifacts of this history. My role as an educator is to facilitate ways for students to navigate the vast terrain of possibilities and to help them become more attune to their own narrative and strength of voice.
